My favorite trail ride was in the hills heading toward S.F. in Ca. We stayed over night had a BBQ we rode through some gorgeous area and I just had so much fun another was up at a park that I can not remeber the name of in CA. There were 5 of us and we got so turned around frankly the map sucked, LOL!!! We did eventually find our way back to the parking area, and we made it home alive although very late. |

Rode every last horse they put in front of me growing up. I started on a shetland pony who's name I can not remember, I rode Ginger the Morgan/Mustang, Skippy the TB, Keno the POA, Spanky the TB, Whiskey the pony, Bro the Morgan, Picale the Peruvian Paso, Ajax the you know I am not sure what Ajax was a TB cross I think, Prince the pony, Buck who I think was a Qh cross, the odd horse on paid trail rides, and finally my Tjhara a lovely Arab, I miss them all, I gotta get a new best bud ASAP. I showed mostly english although did do the occasional pole bending and barrel race as well as trail classes and a variety of other play day sort of classes, key hole, hurry scurry, etc...... I did some jumping and dressage, and also just loved plan trail riding and camping out. I adore the smell of horses, and would much rather clean a barn then clean my house, give me a muck rake and shovel over a broom and dishcloth anyday. Thats me I guess!!!
