I got Sable 4 years ago as a Christmas present from my brother. I had been wanting a horse ever since I knew what one was. But Dad kept telling me "No." As I grew up, the idea of owning my own horse seemed like a far off dream. Graduation and college came and went - still no horse. Different careers created life changes and the idea of a horse was pretty much null and void. Imagine my surprise at the age of 29, Christmas morning, when my brother handed me a lead rope with a beautiful gray mare attached to the end of it! To this day, my Mom still says she wishes she had a camera then to capture the look on my face. That is how I became a horse owner and will be til the day I die. And Sable is here to stay til her last day too. She is the sweetest mare ever and will give her all in everything you ask her to do. She's my "Pretty Girl" and I love her to pieces. I wouldn't trade her for nothing.

About Me

Hello, everyone! My name is Tonya and I have lived in South Dakota most of life. Although the winters can be long and cold, I love living here. I live on an 80 acre farm, surrounded by peace and quiet and lots of places to ride my mare, Sable. I also have a QH pony named Whiskey who is in training (I'm doing the majority of the training). I also have 1 dog, a Shih Tzu named Chloe, 3 cats - Bandit, Bailey and Bug, a lovebird and 3 fish. When I'm not busy with training or riding the horses, I work full time at a bank as an Ag lending assistant. In my spare time (what little of it there is), I enjoy reading, watching movies, putting puzzles today, playing games online and meeting new friends at places like this. I don't have any two-legged children. I get tons of love and enjoyment from my four legged ones. If you want to chat, just send me a message.

04/05/2008 20:24:10 I've never actually seen one of Josh's clinics except for bits and pieces on You Tube, but a lot of the people I've talked too say that he is much better when Tommie is at an expo with him. Tommie is quick witted and keeps him on track and really they are hysterically funny when they are together. Just two little boys playing one-up-manship. LOL
