EYE COLOR: Hazel
HEIGHT: 5'8"
FAVORITE MOVIES: Anything with horses, or John Wayne
Some chick flicks
FAVORITE RIDERS: Stacy Westfall, Tierny Catlin
FAVORITE MUSIC: Country & classic rock
FAVORITE TRAIL RIDES: I went with a group to the Grand Canyon in Pennsylvania. The first day we rode with the group and the second day, the woman that I went with and I broke off and did our own exploring. We rode the hiking trials along to western ridge. Awesome ride with an awesome horse (RIP Justine...).
GENDER OF HORSE: Gelding

HORSE NAME: Tuckdin for the Nite
HEIGHT: 15.1
BREED: QH
RIDING DISCIPLINE: English/ Western
YEARS RIDING: 2
UPCOMING COMPETITIONS: This will be our first year in the show ring. Not sure which way we're going to fly. It all depends on how he does when he goes to get finished in another month (March '08). He sure does look pretty in purple though!
HISTORY OF YOUR HORSE: I'm not sure about his beginnings. He has Poco lines and he came from upstate NY. When I got him, he was very green. They had started him bareback and with clip-on reins on the halter. I bought him at 4. Introduced the saddle, that was okay, but the bit... whole nother story! After trying 4 different bits, we have decided to leave it up to the professionals. After taking the winter off to mature a little more, he goes out for training in another month.
CURRENT STABLE: Home for now...
GENDER OF HORSE: Gelding

I'm almost 45, happily married with kids and grandkids. I've had horses most of my adult life. Couldn't imagine where I would be without them now! My husband isn't a horse person, but he's very supportive. Sold his beloved motorcycle to build me a barn! This year, I would love to try a little bit of showing with my new horse, Tucker.

Good day trail riding Group
I posted a topic on Trail Riding Preparation and would be interested in feedback. I am trying to get together a trail riding group in my area, and was asked to formulate some basic guidelines for preparing a ride. The snow is melting, the days are longer, and I am feeling it’s time for a good old trail ride. I have had a lot of comments about Green Creek, and this year I plan to Video tape a ride, and add a lot more pictures.

He did great and was a really good boy! It felt so good to ride again! I hadnt ridden Munchkins since late last Sept! I thought maybe hed buck or something but he was great for me. I know you will love riding him whenever this weather gets better! Catch you later, Have a great day!
