HISTORY OF YOUR HORSE:

I got him off of the slaughter yard in Eastern Washington in '06. I had bought a little mare and they threw him on the trailer too......they were both skinny(starving), wormy, hairless from rain rot and he was toothless from being WELL over 30 at the time. No one thought he would live, especially since he came in the cold and wet of a February in the Northwest. But he neighed to me out ot the darkness every morning telling me to hurry up with his old man mush and not only has he survived he has thrived and makes me laugh every single day. He is worth far more than his weight in gold to me!!

About Me

I am fortunate enough to live the kind of life I have always wanted. As an Animal Control officer I make a difference in animals lives every day. I own a farm and have 5 horses. 3 of them are over 25 and the oldest is 35. I love taking in old skinny horses and making them fat and happy for the rest of their lives. I also love to ride in the mountains on a good trail horse and be able to ride a well trained dressage horse in the arena. I am fortunate to own both and live 30 minutes from the foothills of the Cascades.
I have been blessed with many long term good friends and have made many more through horse rescue and ACO work.
