Scampi; racebred but didnt race. Hes a miricle foal, he nearly died when he was born due to pneumonia and blood poisoning but he hung in there and he is now my ray of sunshine...when he is not cow kicking and biting!!!! lol.

Hi I am Sharon, I was born in Derbyshire England many many moons ago. I am currently training as an Equine Vet. I am a qualified Intermediate Instructor, Nutritionist, Stud Manager and Equine Vet Tech. I am a showjumper, I jumped for the Royal Navy and played Polo as a serving Naval Officer, Leftenant. I seved two years as a British Police Officer before joining the Royal Navy.
I have been in horses since my first pony at 2, 33 years...arghhh! My first pony was Donny a 12h dartmoor stallion. I have had countless horses, many of which we bred, used to breed Welsh Sec A's, Arabs and Anglo Arabs, or rescued from slaughter and neglect....which is over 100 rescued horses and youngstock over the years.
I lived in Tennessee for 3 years where i had my own barn and a big herd of Appaloosa, Tb, Morgan, Qarters and mustang horses. I worked on a trail center as an instructor and took out trail rides.
I am a Natural Horsemanship Instructor, I have my own methods which has derived from various other methods which i find the best way to do it...mix and match and is very successful.
I have two Tbs, Scampi and Indie, both very big boys with big hearts, which i am tuning up this year and will affiliate them with the BSJA next year when we are going to hit the jumping curcuit by storm. All info will be on my blogg.
I am engaged to be married to by sweetheart Mark who is a gunner in the Royal Navy and has another 12 years to serve. I met him by accident one night, I am a close protection officer and bouncer, been doing it for a few years on and off now, and he was out with the senior rates and one of his bosses wouldnt leave me alone...he touched my butt....oh hell no.....so i knocked him out on the dance floor....hehehehe, and Mark offered to buy me a drink so i told him where to get off and that was it....love at first fight LMAO!!! We hit it off and two years later we are still very very happy!...plus he is loverly!!!!
I love to travel and have travelled the world serving tin the Royal Navy, that was soooo much fun but very hard work and has instilled me with much needed disciplin...which i lacked at one time!
Horses are my life, and both my boys are the sun moon and earth to me, they are my heaven and hell.
I also have a skink called Seth, three bearded dragons, Bert Erni (origonally erin til we realised shes a he) and Zoe, my baby Bobo whos a boa constrictor and 2 of the cutest leopard geckos in the world...Val n Tyne...go figure when i got them!!
I love my life, i am always full of beans and bouncing off the walls, even though my old bones do keep complaining at me. I am doing very well in my Vet coarse even though it is extremely hard!!!! I am hoping to get a Showjumping sponser for next year so fingers crossed!!!
