Annie's mother died 2 hours after giving birth to her. She didn't get her "first milk". When Ann was 3 1/2 days old, drove her 2 hours away, in back of a suburban, to K-State University. She came back to me weeks later, with Sandy, french alpine dairy goat. Annie would actually nurse off of Sandy. They lived in my garage for 3 1/2 months. My daughter trained Annie herself for her 4H 2 year old snaffle bit project. They ended up receiving Grand Champion out of 22 entries. Shortly after that, I fell from Annie & she stepped on me. I took a ride in an ambulance. Took me a year to get back on her. I currently ride her at a walk & trot. Getting braver though, so may lope soon. Annie will be 5 in April |

I hit the big FIVE OH this past June. Ugh. I've had horses for almost 30 years. I own 3, daughter owns 2. Hers are at a boarding stables, which she pays for. I have 2 here at home and one at a friend's house. I also have 2 indoor cats, 1 indoor dog, 1 outside dog, 11 outside cats, 10 kittens and 1 french alpine nanny goat. I was married to my first husband for five years, producing a son. Son-29, lives in KC,Mo. I've been married to my current husband for 23 years. We had 2 children. Daughter-20, still lives with us and a 13 year old boy. I'm on my 14th year driving a schoolbus. Two days before school started, I was shanghied into helping in the high school kitchen. Main jobs are making salads and desserts.
