My 14 year old ,ex-race, Appendix Quarter Horse. She Came off a feed Lot in Washington. The Women who payed for her to come to California couldnt keep weight on her in pasture. So She leasted her to Angi! Angi rode her and decided that she might be a good horse for me. I went to her house with two friends and it took me about 30 minutes for me to get on her by myself but when I did it felt AMAZING! It was love at First sight! She is a Tattooed race horse! Although she isnt very fast if you ask me! lol

My 28 year old, Semi retired, Appalousa. After almost 4 or 5 years without horses my mother decided that it was time my sister and i get a horse. We Also Begged!!!! My mom looked for horses that were for sale ans soon enough we had a car load headed to find the perfect horse! WE drove into a boreding stable where first my sister road, Then my best Friend Talia, and then me!!!! We fell in love with her! We have had her ever since! 7 years later her and I are still an awesome team. |

I am 16 Years old! I live at home with Angi and my mother and the millions of animals! I am very unique person! For those Of you that know me will verify this! LoL!I have been around horses Most of my life. I had a lot of fear issues! Then I met a couple of people who made it a lot easier to get over them.
First is Angi Keitel. Just going to her house away from my mom, Her and I one on One, Made me really realize what I was doing and My movements that would affect the horse. Watching different training videos together, We both were learning together. She never thought I was dumb to ask her questions on how anything was done, she never made me feel like I couldnt do anything. She has faith in me. Having me grab random horses on her property and move them from pen to pen made a huge difference to. Her having the confidence in me made me that much more ready for my journey with horses.
Then There is Chris Vilmer. Just going to Lifesavers and watching her movement and listening to what she had to say, made me realize what I was doing right or wrong. Chris also explained her horse fears to me and how she either got over them or dealt with them, made me realize that I could do it to She is an amazing person, not just for horse stuff, but with life experiences! She listens to peoples problems (even mine) and I should thank her all the time for that, but I forget to so, thank you Chris!
Then there is Marty (Martin) Vilmer. He is not much older than me, so him and I really connected. He knew exactly how much to push and when to back off! Him and We have done a couple rides together. Its been a blast knowing him! He and I talk about anything from our personal lives to the horses! He isnt just an insperation. He is my BEST friend. And I couldnt of asked for anyone better!
But the person who inspires me most is my mother! She is always trying to help me improve. If not by her words then by the books. So thank you Mom!
So as I was saying I had a lot of fear issues But now I can just chill and hang with my horses!! Now Horses arent my whole life so dont that I am some freak who has animals as her best friend! Lol! I have a couple of the most amazing best friends anyone could ever ask for. We have the best times together. I listen to music all the time. If you dont see my I-Pod by my side then you know something is wrong. I am trying to survive my high school years with the least amount of drama as possible. So Far no luck, but thats okay. Im working on it. Well if you want to know anything else well just ask me!
