I hope you can keep JR too. I was lucky enough to keep my first pony til she died - she and I were both in our 20's. Here's something though - my horse now is 14h 3" (I'm 5' 9"). My first horse was 14h 3" also. I got her when I was 12. She was an Arab/QH palomino mare and wow was she fast at speed n action and pole bending - she could also jump and her highest jump was 4' with me on board bareback. I don't recommend trying that one though because the first few trys I landed on my noggin - hard. Ouch. Also may want to look up Lendon Gray who rode a horse named Seldon Seen.
