OK everyone this Abigail. She is a 3yro QH mare that got for Christmas.I would like to have her critiqued, and if possible, know what disciplines she would best be used for. I was thinking western/english pleasure and halter and possibly jumpers! So what do you think about her? Head shots:

She is really cute! She needs some more muscling in the hind end though. Try doing a little hill work that will help!

The pictures arent the greatest for conformation critique but she looks like a very cute nice little mare. If she were mine I would be training her for barrels. The only thing I can pick out from the pictures is her back is long.

I think with length would look shorter with more muscling (which should come with time and muturity), however I think she'd make a nice hunter or western prospect. How nice she is going at 3, - she looks like a real good girl.

I think she overall is a pretty cute all around horse. I think you could most definatly do english or western pleasure with her and if she likes to jump I could see her doing crossrails. The only thing I see where she needs some help with would be her hind like kristen said hill work, or if you would like to try dressage its fun and is good for muscling up your horse and keeping her balanced. She is still young so I would hold off jumping till shes at least four preferiably five. Cute horse and it seems like youll have alot of fun with her :)

Very cute but she indeed, lacks a ton of muscle. I'd be using her as a barrel prospect.
I'd also get a bridle for her... your bit "contraption" looks quite unsafe, to me.

Cute mare, I would say she is more suited for western events. Trail, western riding, WP SMS.

I like her. I think if you feed her well, build her muscles slowly as she matures, and teach her to use her hind end you could have an all around gamer. I bet if you do all the slow work correctly, you will have at the very least a decent barrel/pole horse. Anything really! Good luck with her, she has such a nice eye!
