Is there anyone out there that does Search and Rescue on horseback?  There is a law enforcement agency nearby that is looking for volunteers for their Search & Rescue group.  I wondered what is involved.  I know what they expect from the horse, but I'd like to know if anyone has any experience, and what kind of time commitment is really expected?  It sound's like an interesting social opportunity, as well as a great way to serve my community.

  Tell me about your expeience.
