new gig
I got plans for a gig from Witmar Coach shop. I kinda wish the instructions where more detailed, but I think I can get through them. The plans are very minimal though. Not much info on thichknesses of materials, and such. I have them tacked to the wall in the shop, waiting to get inspired. I need a larger vehicle for my larger ponies, my road cart wouldn't handle anything about about 13.2.

Sounds fun. I like projects. Maybe that is why I am in construction, lol. I missed out on a new cart on tuesday at the mid-ohio draft sale. A draft show cart went for $600.00 us dollars. If I would have seen it in preview I might have got it. Ended up with some new harnesses though.

New harness
Cool you got new harness! Christmas in March!
I'm getting ready to order some new stuff. I've started working one of the "for sale" girls, and my medium pony harness won't fit her. She's 14.2ish so is 6 inches taller and much bigger bodied than my usual driving pony.
She's actually been put to the cart once, but it wasn't my cart or harness. We're starting over with just lungeing and such. She wasn't bitted previously either, so even wearing the bridle is a new experience for her.
Very flashy mover. I hope to have her ready for the working carriage driving class at regionals this summer.

More like my birthday present to myself for my horse. But I have a dilema. I got two harnesses. A two for one deal. But I only have one draft. I guess Ill just have to find another spotted draft to team them up. LOL.
