~I'm under the spell of an athletic activity that lies at a unique junction of sport and art. There are no coaches, no rules, no one telling you what to do. It is a solitary pursuit that engenders intense camraderie. There are no limits to what can be done or imagined except for the ones you impose upon yourself~♥

| HISTORY OF YOUR HORSE: |
AHH.
Bella.
Born in April, 07, in Canada.
Rescued in November, 07, for me.
Bought (officially) in August, 08, by me.
November 15th, we had to evacuate at the Nelson's because of the fires....they lost everything, and Bella stayed in another friend's backyard until January, and now she's in ANOTHER friend's backyard. LOL
Notes on her name.
YES, she is registered with the PMUR as Isabella Swan.
YES, that is the name of the main character in Twilight.
The story?
The song, Michelle, was stuck in my head.
"Michelle, ma belle,
Sont des mots qui vont très bien ensemble,
Très bien ensemble."
Yeah, that one.
I sing around horses...I just do...therefore, I was singing it to my horse.
And I thought Belle was a cute name.
(I know too many Michelle's ;])
It went to Bella....a few weeks later, a friend of mine commented on the name and said "you should call her Isabella Swan!!" and I LOVEDD the name...filled out the papers....found out it was a character in a book....sent in the papers....got the book....LOVED the book....and yeah. =]
It fits her.
She's my mental shield =] |

Cantering is the sort of pure joy and freedom that was lost to the automobile; going ninety in a car, no matter how flashy, is nothing to going thirty on a horse, hearing the one-two-three rhythm, more graceful than a waltz, breathing in dust, feeling at once the power of the muscles and the dangerous closeness of the ground below.~http://pgrstopography.blogspot.com/2008/12/section-i-homecoming.html
To look upon that landscape in the early morning, with the sun at your back, is to lose the sense of proportion. Your imagination comes to life, and this, you think, is where Creation was begun.~N. Scott Momaday
I found a refuge; within the pages of a book, i found a place where i could be truly alone, with no outside distractions- just me and the authors words, a beautiful place of peace.~Melanie Melgar
Horse people don’t debate, they argue until they’re blue in the face and then leave believing that their side is even more right than when they first started.
Story of my life.
