Rolo Tomasi (ISH) and Peter Smyth (Irl) finished joint third in the Hickstead DFS Derby on Sunday, taking home over €11,000 in prize money. The Derby course proved to be tough with no clear rounds in the first round of jumping. At Spruce Meadows, Rich Fellers (USA) and Flexible (ISH) were victorious in the €38,000 Grand Prix.

On the eventing circuit, Captain Geoff Curran (Irl) and Balladeer Alfred (ISH) took fourth place in the CCI*** at Strzegom in Poland. British rider, Nick Gauntlett took sixth and seventh place in the same event, with Rocket Science (ISH) and Woodside Alcatraz (ISH).
