Just Born® Milk Replacer is available in puppy and kitten formulas that closely match a mother’s milk for use when she is not available or unable to nurse her offspring.
For greater convenience, Just Born® Milk Replacer is now available in a new slim pack design in eight-ounce Tetra Paks®. The new slim pack design makes it easier for smaller hands to open, pour and close the package. In addition, the smaller footprint saves shelf space, allowing for more shelf facings. The popular line of Just Born® Milk Replacers is the next best thing to mother’s milk. The formula used closely matches the nutritional profile of mother’s milk and contains a balance of protein, fats and carbohydrates, plus vitamins, minerals and amino acids required for optimal health. In order to improve food value, the formulas also contain three protein sources: casein, whey and isolated soy protein.
There are several differences in the formulation of Just Born® puppy and kitten milk replacers. The kitten formula is higher in protein and lower in fat content than the puppy formula because felines are true carnivores and need more protein than canines. In addition, vitamin and mineral requirements differ greatly between puppies and kittens.
Just Born® Liquid for puppies and kittens is also available in a 32-ounce Tetra Pak®. Just Born® Powder for puppies and kittens is made with a special processing technique which makes the powder particles light and fluffy so they quickly mix with water. The can is fitted with a soft pull-top for easy opening and no sharp edges. The kitten formula is available in six-ounce and 12-ounce cans; the puppy formula comes in 12-ounce and 24-ounce cans. Just Born® has a two-year shelf life for both the liquid and powder formulas.
Just Born® is an excellent source of essential proteins, fat, vitamins and minerals and may be used as a supplement during strenuous activities such as nursing, showing, hunting and training. It may also be used to supplement geriatric, malnourished or stressed animals. Simply mix one tablespoon of prepared Just Born® Milk Replacer per five pounds of body weight into the daily ration.
Specially designed for nursing puppies and kittens, Just Born® Hand Feeding Kits and Nursing Bottles are for use with Just Born® Milk Replacers. Durably constructed and heat-resistant, all parts can be sterilized in boiling water and are made to last. Bottles are specially calibrated by tablespoon for feeding accuracy.
