24-7PressRelease/ - SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, CA, June 06, 2007 - The children and the animals have found a home and are happy to have a place to show their hard work and passion. They have worked all of their young lives to raise animals, but not just any animals. They work to raise the best, the cream of the crop, the pride, joy and passion of so many local children living in the San Fernando Valley. LAUSD even understands the importance of these animals when schools like Canoga Park High School have a Veterinary Science Magnet program, with a farm on campus. These young professionals study and work toward their future careers in the Animal Sciences. They have compassion, skill and tenderness.

This year, even though the animals will be separate from the actual carnival portion of the fair, all the fun of the animal exhibits, the showmanship and even the Buyers Pancake Breakfast will take place at the Hansen Dam Equestrian Center, located at 11127 Orcas Ave., Lake View Terrace, CA., thanks to the efforts of local businesses and Eddie Milligan who opened his heart and his business, to give the children and their animals a place to show how hard they have worked this year.

"We are so pleased to have a home to show our animals and hold our Auction." states Susan Niethamer, Livestock Superintendent for the newly named 51st District Valley Livestock Show. "The volunteers, parents and children have worked hard to save the animals and will show the community just how to put on a show. The support of our sponsors and the community will help us make this a successful show."

On June 9th, 2007 the animal shows will begin at 9am and continue throughout the day. The children will proudly march their animals into the arena, and show the judges the best qualities of the animals they have raised. On June 10th, the show opens with the annual Buyers Pancake Breakfast at 10am. The auctions will begin at 11:30 and the kids have a chance to build their business.

Local business is standing beside the children and their efforts as well. Mission Valley Bank, A-CO Temporary Power, Mission Valley Sanitation, BC Plumbing, Left Corner Framing, Marseille & Company Management and M&M Properties are doing everything they can to make this show a reality for this community and these children.

"Without the support of the community, this would be a difficult task." remarks Niethamer. "But this out pouring of support is going to make a great success of this show."

The community, families and friends can enjoy the simple pleasures of the Valley Jr. Livestock Show this year in a safe, charming and encouraging setting. Don't let your year pass by without the experience of the animals. Join us all for the show of a lifetime.
