HISTORY OF YOUR HORSE: What a history he has...

This horse has given me pretty much everything for the past 7 years, and now it is about time to let him go out to pasture for his days. No more showing after 2008, Tuff. Maybe if I find a young 4-Her to lease you to, but hard competition is something you can no longer handle. Life is short, you live it while you have it!
CURRENT STABLE: HHH Ranch
GENDER OF HORSE: Gelding

I'm Amanda, I own 2 of my own horses and we have 5 horses here at home. My two horses are a 18 year old one eyed paint horse named Tuff, and a 4 year old solid bay paint mare named Halo Wild Fyre (Filly). This year I plan on retiring Tuff at the end of the season, and I want to start showing Filly in Western and English pleasure. Oh! And showmanship, too!

As for showing, I've pretty much tried everything at least once. There are only a couple more events I would like to try, that is steer wrestling, roping, and goat tying. I do both english and western, but my niche is in the speed arena.

I love taking pictures, I'm working on a new camera already. (After a few months of the one I have) Besides riding at shows, I also take A LOT of pictures, photography is pretty much my second career choice.

Speaking of careers, I want to be a Vertranarian. After I finish high school, I plan on going to Ferris to finish off my credits and then hopefully to MSU for 10 years worth of animal science and vet. classes. Geez, lucky I'm graduating the youngest in my class!

I'd also like to gain my judging cards for APHA and AQHA, I just don't like how those pleasure horses look. I want to change the views on the QH and Paint standards for pleasure.

Hmm, I don't know what else to say, if you want to know, you can always ask!

This is my equestrian team showing in 2007. I'm the rider jumping, and riding the paint horse wearing a white shirt in the speed classes.

I'm no pro, but I can keep my butt in the saddle and balance without hanging on. (I'd like to see some hunter riders do as much.)
