Long story short: Firering used to race, and I believe manhandled on the track. His teeth were never properly taken care of so he didn't race his best. |

I currently own 2 horses (Firering and September), both from different racing backgrounds. I'm working on getting my own horse training business up and running. Lightfoot Horse Training is geared toward the owner that can't afford sending their horse off to training, wants the horse to have it, but wants to play a key role in the horse's training as well. My goal is to educate the rider/owner and the horse.

I also own a 23 year old Standardbred mare named Sweet September. She's had a hard life and is now in semi-retirement as a lesson horse. She loves her job and she loves her Firering!
