He was my best friend for 5 years. I bought him from someone that was a hard time racer. He was the type to work a horse till it couldnt move anymore then send it to slaughter. So i found Mally underweight, neglected and beaten. The vet told me to put him down because of his history, he was racing and fell just because he couldnt bare it anymore. When he did this he broke something in near his hoof and the jockey was killed from the fall. The vet said he wouldnt ever be able to have someone on his back ever again and his foot would never heel. But i didnt listen and for a year and a half i just walked around with him and gained his weight and got his trust. Vet came in said he had heeled but is never going to be able to jump. So i began to ride him very lightly. Sent him to a trainer that missed him up even more. So from there on i did everything with him untill him and i went into dressage training. Charolete taught him and i lots of amazing stuff. Then we i moved to canada my parents promised me they would take him with us. and they did but for my 16th that summer they sold him. I could have just dropped dead that day. |
